A lo largo de m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada de su inauguraci\u00f3n no fue puesta en marcha, por diversos motivos, reci\u00e9n en marzo del a\u00f1o 2017, se comenz\u00f3 a operar de forma sistem\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>El 1 de marzo de 2017, se crea la Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Integral de Residuos S\u00f3lidos Urbanos (GIRSU), dependiente de la Municipalidad de Malarg\u00fce, su principal objetivo era jerarquizar la problem\u00e1tica de los Residuos S\u00f3lidos.
