El \u00e9xito de estas reuniones se basa en la combinaci\u00f3n de investigadores destacados y entusiastas con la visita a afloramientos de primer nivel mundial de sistemas subvolc\u00e1nicos.<\/p>\n<p>Los objetivos de la reuni\u00f3n LASI 6 son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reunir cient\u00edficos prestigiosos de todo el mundo para compartir los \u00faltimos avances en el conocimiento de los sistemas subvolc\u00e1nicos<\/li>\n<li>Compartir los interesantes resultados cient\u00edficos de la colaboraci\u00f3n en curso entre cient\u00edficos de Argentina y Noruega,<\/li>\n<li>Promover la cuenca Neuquina, y especialmente en el Departamento de Malarg\u00fce, como un laboratorio natural de primer nivel para el estudio de sistemas subvolc\u00e1nicos y su influencia en sistemas petroleros.<\/li>\n<li>el Congreso tendr\u00e1 5 presentadores invitados especiales: Dra. Janine Kavanagh (Universidad de Liverpool, Reino Unido); Prof. Freysteinn Sigmundsson (Universidad de Reykjavik, Islandia), experto mundial en geof\u00edsica de volcanes activos; Dra. Nora Rubinstein (CONICET); Alan Bischoff (Universidad de Canterbury, Nueva Zelanda); Dr. Gerardo Paez (CONICET).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El fin del Congreso corresponde a tres d\u00edas de excursi\u00f3n de campo en varias zonas de Malarg\u00fce, incluyendo el Valle del R\u00edo Grande, El Manzano, Las Loicas, el Valle del R\u00edo Salado y Los Molles.
